Draft for lawyer review

This page is an interim draft that a lawyer has not reviewed yet. It describes how M3U.Click works today and may change after the review. Questions: support@tibrcode.com.

⚖️ marks a point our lawyer still has to confirm. Text in square brackets starting with PENDING is information we are still adding.

We want everyone to be able to use M3U.Click, whatever device, browser or assistive technology they use.

The standard we build to

We build M3U.Click to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, the current W3C Recommendation. This statement covers the website at m3u.click and the editor at m3u.click/app/.

What we do

  • Automated checks on every change. Before any update goes live, automated tests check our main pages with the axe accessibility engine in Chromium, Firefox and WebKit (the engines behind Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari), in both the dark and the light theme. A change with a serious problem cannot be published.
  • Lighthouse accessibility score of 100 is required on our home pages in every build.
  • Keyboard use: every page has a “skip to content” link, a visible focus indicator and a logical order. The editor is being designed for full keyboard use.
  • Colour contrast: our colours are tested against the WCAG AA contrast ratios in both themes.
  • Languages and direction: pages declare their language, and the Arabic version is fully mirrored from right to left.
  • Motion: animations are switched off when your device asks for reduced motion.
  • Text: pages work when you zoom to 200% and use relative font sizes.

Known limitations

  • The editor is an early preview. Many editing features are still being built. We review each one for keyboard and screen-reader use as it arrives.
  • Manual screen-reader testing is not finished. We plan full manual tests with NVDA on Windows and VoiceOver on iOS and macOS before the public launch of the editor.
  • Content from other websites, such as logos and stream names inside your own playlists, comes from those sources and may lack text alternatives. The editor shows the entry’s name instead.

Tell us about a problem

If something on M3U.Click is hard to use, or you need information in another format, email support@tibrcode.com with the subject “Accessibility”. Please tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and the device, browser and assistive technology you use. We aim to reply within five working days.

The European Accessibility Act applies to certain products and services in the EU from 28 June 2025. ⚖️ Our lawyer is confirming whether it applies to a free tool like M3U.Click. We follow WCAG 2.2 AA either way.

This statement was prepared on 2 November 2026 from our own testing (self-assessment). We review it whenever we add a major feature, and at least once a year.
